ModSapp vs Vendwa: which fits your shop?
The short version. ModSapp will set your shop up for you — they do the training, you approve it before it goes live, and it takes about five working days. Their plans start at GHS 370 a month. Vendwa is self-serve: you connect your number, load your catalogue, set your floor prices, and you can be selling the same day, from GH₵199 a month, with a public shop page included.
If you don't want to configure anything and you'd rather someone else did the work, that's a real reason to choose them, and it's the first thing this page should say.

Where ModSapp wins
Done-for-you setup is worth real money to the right seller. Loading two hundred products, writing descriptions, setting delivery zones and deciding a floor price on every item is a job. If the thought of it is the reason you've put this off for six months, paying someone to do it is not a weakness — it's the thing that gets you live. Their five-day turnaround with your approval at the end is a sensible way to buy that.
"Unlimited messages" on their Pro plan. We can't say that. Vendwa's allowances are real caps — 60, 150 and 350 AI-handled conversations a month by plan, with GH₵60 top-up packs. If your volume is high and unpredictable, their structure removes a worry ours doesn't.
Card payments alongside MoMo. If a meaningful share of your customers pay by Visa or Mastercard, they support it directly and we don't.
Shadow mode. Approving the AI's replies before they send is a genuinely reassuring way to start, and some sellers will only ever be comfortable that way. Our answer to the same nervousness is different — you can take over any chat with a tap or pause the whole thing — but it isn't the same feature and it would be dishonest to pretend it was.
Where Vendwa is different
You can be selling today. Not in five days. Connect the number, load what you have, set your floors, switch it on. For a seller who wants to try something before committing a week to it, that difference is the whole thing.
Your shop gets a public link, included. shop.vendwa.com/your-shop-name — photos, cedi prices, sizes, stock, and an Order on WhatsApp button on every item that opens a chat with the item already named. It goes in your Instagram bio and on your status. ModSapp's published feature list doesn't include a storefront; theirs works inside the WhatsApp chat. Ours is free on every plan, Starter included, at no extra cost.
Floor prices, per product, enforced by the system. Every item carries its own secret lowest price. The check runs on the arithmetic before any reply goes out, so there's no way for a customer to phrase their way underneath it. GH₵199 against GHS 370 at the entry point. And the first 50 shops pay GH₵99 for three invoices. On the cheapest plan of each, that's a real gap for a small shop counting cedis.
What we can't tell you
Two honest gaps, because a comparison page that pretends to know everything is one you shouldn't trust.
We haven't used ModSapp. Everything above is read from their published pages, not from testing. We haven't run the two side by side on the same shop, and we're not going to claim we have.
Their site doesn't publish everything. Price negotiation isn't described on their feature list, but absence from a marketing page isn't proof a product can't do it. If negotiation matters to you — and in Ghana it usually does — ask them directly rather than taking our reading of their site as an answer.
How to choose
Choose ModSapp if you want someone else to build it, you're comfortable waiting about a week to go live, message volume is high and unpredictable, card payments matter to you, or you want to approve replies before they send.
Choose Vendwa if you want to start today, you want your shop on a public link without paying extra for it, your sales end in a negotiation you'd like held to a number you set, and you want to know exactly what next month costs.
